Accountable to the President and CEO for providing strategic leadership and oversight of the organization’s financial and operational functions, ensuring fiscal integrity, operational excellence, and overall organizational effectiveness. Responsibilities include budget development and management, financial forecasting and reporting, cash flow oversight, risk management, and the implementation of internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. Additionally, leads the organization’s human capital strategy, including total rewards, compensation planning, succession management, workforce planning, and talent acquisition initiatives that support long-term business objectives.
Previously recruited as the organization’s first Human Resources professional for a rapidly growing cybersecurity startup, where I partnered with executive leadership to design and implement HR programs aligned with strategic business goals. Successfully sourced and recruited numerous key leaders, including the Chief Technology Officer, Director of Information Technology, and senior sales executives. Most recently served as Senior Director of Human Resources for a nonprofit organization, where I was a member of the Senior Management Team and served as Board of Directors Liaison. In this role, I partnered closely with the Board to lead the recruitment of the Chief Executive Officer and other critical leadership positions. I hold a Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Human Resource Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Science in Management Studies from the University of Maryland.
