Student Investment Program

Take a SIP of financial literacy

WHAT IS THE STUDENT INVESTMENT PROGRAM (SIP)?

The Student Investment Program (SIP) offers a refreshing ‘sip’ of investment knowledge to promote financial well-being to students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and other Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs). For students interested in investments and stocks but uncertain about how to get started, this program provides the perfect launch pad to dive into the world of finance. In partnership with Stackwell and other philanthropic sponsors, SIP has proudly welcomed over 1000 students from 35 HBCUs and MSIs.

This initiative is more than just learning about stocks and trades; it’s a step towards fostering a new generation of savvy investors. If you’re a student eager to learn about the intricacies of investing and ready to put your knowledge to the test, SIP is your program to shine.

We are excited to launch the expansion of the Student Investment Program, offering financial wellness education to the entire student body at each of ten SFI participating schools (listed below), and $1,000 in seed funding to 300 student participants across the schools listed below.
