The Student Investment Program (SIP) offers a refreshing ‘sip’ of investment knowledge to promote financial well-being to students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and other Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs). For students interested in investments and stocks but uncertain about how to get started, this program provides the perfect launch pad to dive into the world of finance. In partnership with Stackwell and Prudential Financial, SIP has proudly welcomed over 400 students from 36 HBCUs and MSIs, into our Inaugural Cohort. This initiative is more than just learning about stocks and trades; it’s a step towards closing the racial wealth gap and fostering a new generation of savvy investors.
