Student Freedom Initiative (“SFI”)

Accountable to General Counsel and the Executive Director, responsible for supporting the Legal Department, performing a variety of legal, technical and administrative tasks.

  1. Acts as a liaison between legal, administrative staff and external clients.
  2. Drafts and edits confidentiality agreements, business agreements and supporting documents.
  3. Performs legal research for facts relating to matters of interests.
  4. Coordinates charitable registrations and acts as liaison with SAM.gov.

Kerri achieved North Carolina Bar Paralegal Certification in 2017 and has experience in both law firm and corporate environments.  Areas of competency included corporate filings and governance, commercial leasing and contracts, non-disclosure agreements and contracts drafting and negotiations. Dedicated to supporting the mission of advancing equality by making higher education achievable and affordable and advancing STEM supporting programs.  Graduate of the Paralegal Certification program at UNC Chapel Hill and The State University of New York at New Paltz (BS -Biology).
